About Horizon Marine

Horizon Marine, formerly Strawnix Marine, builds and repairs seawalls for residential and community properties. Its work includes vinyl and wood seawalls, cap and tie-back restoration, shoreline stabilization and assessment of existing concrete walls. Owner-led site visits inform repair-versus-replacement recommendations and written estimates, with permit applications handled by the company. Based in Lakeland, it focuses on Central Florida lakefront properties, including reclaimed phosphate lakes. Site assessment considers soil conditions, piling depth and drainage before the wall system is selected. Aluminum systems are also available for appropriate commercial or higher-load applications.
