See the evidence behind the listing
Florida Tradesmen helps you find companies that advertise specific services in specific places. Every published profile links to its supporting company pages.
We start with the company's own website
Service pages establish the work a company advertises. Service-area, contact and relevant project pages provide location context. A company offering general concrete work does not automatically qualify for concrete lifting. Equipment sales do not establish installation.
Addresses and coverage are different facts
A company's office address is recorded separately from where it advertises working. We do not infer coverage from a nearby office, driving distance or a phrase such as “and surrounding areas.” Unknown coverage remains unknown.
General coverage can apply to a confirmed service
When a company advertises a service and a general service area, we apply that area unless its website gives narrower coverage for that service or customer type. Residential, commercial, repair and new-build restrictions remain visible.
County coverage stays county coverage
A clear county-wide statement is recorded as a county claim. This version does not automatically add every city inside that county. Named city coverage and county coverage are kept separate. Named communities may include unincorporated places as well as cities.
One company, one profile
A company can appear on several service and location pages while retaining one profile. Branches are not counted as independent companies. When related brands may share ownership or credentials, we preserve that uncertainty in the research notes.
What inclusion means
A listing means we found website evidence for the recorded service and coverage. It is not a review, recommendation, licensing verification or guarantee that the company is available. We have not contacted the companies to confirm these details.
Ordering and completeness
Company lists are alphabetical. There are no paid placements in this version. The directory is a researched sample, not a complete census of Florida businesses. We do not invent star ratings or customer reviews.
Capabilities are service-specific
Each niche has its own comparison fields. A capability is marked as advertised only when a company source supports that detail for the relevant service. A missing mention stays unknown; it is not a finding that the company cannot do the work. Customer reviews, competitor text and search-result fragments do not establish a capability.
Buyer guides and local project information
Each service has a separate buyer’s guide. Official references support the identified regulatory or technical points; quotation and project-planning questions are editorial guidance. Local authority examples apply only to their stated jurisdiction. City questions use the recorded company coverage, and independently sourced municipal information is included where we have reviewed a specific local resource.
Corrections and review dates
Each profile shows its research date and sources. Company offerings can change. Prepare a correction if you find a specific detail that needs review.
