Pool resurfacing in Fruit Cove should define the interior finish independently from tile, deck and equipment improvements. Cove & Stone's remarciting consultation compares finish families according to the existing pool and desired texture. Frank's Pool Services offers targeted renewal or a broader remodel. Give both the same description of what will remain, what will change and who will manage the pool after the work.
Julington Creek Plantation CDD's February 2026 General Manager recap described a planned pool-refinishing procurement that would also include a chiller. It is a historical planning example for district facilities, not a current completion notice or a specification for private pools. The useful distinction is the scope: a new surface and a temperature-control addition are different components that should have identifiable costs and responsibilities.
Cove & Stone treats cracks, leaks, plumbing and structural issues separately from the interior finish. Frank's can combine resurfacing with tile, coping, lighting and deck changes. Ask each to list the findings that need separate repair before application and the optional items that can wait. A broad renovation price should still reveal what is spent on the pool interior itself.

Cove & Stone distinguishes leak and structural concerns from finish replacement. Have any water-loss problem assessed and the resulting repair identified separately before selecting the new surface.
Ask the contractor about the particular equipment and its installation scope. The local CDD’s past plan combined those objectives, but it does not establish that either company includes a chiller in a standard resurfacing quote.
Frank’s advertises concrete, stamped concrete, pavers and acrylic deck options. Compare those as separate surfaces and quantities from the water-holding interior.
Agree the condition assessment, any required repairs, the desired texture and appearance, and the maintenance handoff. Then compare the actual selected materials and included preparation.
